Mac mini と PC を比較するなら

I’ve seen a ton of articles around the web lately comparing the Mac mini to the near full size desktop PC. What they fail to compare is the amount of computing power per square inch you get with the mini. So, I decided to take it upon myself to create the fastest PC possible with the size constraints of the mini’s small form factor.

最近、Mac mini を フルサイズデスクトップ PC と性能比較するような記事を web でよく目にするわけですが、そこでは、同じ mini サイズにおける computing power の比較がなされていなかったりします。というわけで、Mac mini のサイズで可能な限り高性能な PC をこさえてみることにしますた。

VIA の Nano-ITX マザーを Mac mini に装着、ヒートシンクを削ったりパネル作ったりしてます。
IDEアダプタも乗せる必要があったと書いてありますな。
残念ながら CD-ROM ドライブは入らなかったようです。
そして「やっぱり Mac mini は Mac mini のままがイイ」といったコメント多数。
どうでもいいけど、mother board = mobo って言うのは知らなかったデス。
そんな自分も先日、寺町の Joshin で展示されている Mac mini をさわってきました。
素敵でした。ときめきました。
